Today marks the 7th anniversary of the tragic attacks of September 11, 2001. Please take time to remember the victims and the families of the 4 planes, the Pentagon and the Twin Towers. Also, remember the troops and the families that have lost their lives to pay for our freedom. Let us always pray safety and blessings for the troops who are sacrificing so much to secure our freedom even now, 7 years later. Let us honor our heroes who have given so much...Let us NEVER FORGET!!!!!!
I just discovered Cha Cha from the guys! You can send a text from your phone to 242 242 (Cha Cha) and they'll answer any question you can think of. It's pretty cool!
See you guys in Kansas City!
To continue-
So we stay in Montana for two extra days. We have a great time and get to see some gorgeous country. We get to the airport and board our upgraded first class flight.
Then, it happens...the gift of pure destiny.
As I sit in my seat collecting my thoughts of the preceding weekend, in walks none other than The Huey Lewis (without The News)!
Palms sweaty and trying to avoid eye contact, I recieve a confirmation text from Andy.
"It's him" I read.
For the next 2 hours we all manage to keep our wit. Then, we land.
We start to deboard and I think, "here's my chance, my chance with Huey!". I run behind him and with all that I am say...
"Mr. Lewis?"
"Yes" the great replies.
"I just wanted to say thanks." I profound.
"Thanks?" He puzzles.
"For the music man...the music". I say.
"No problem". And just like that, he was gone.
No one really knows what became of Huey that day, but for me I was forever changed by those caring and endearing few words, "No Problem".
So I am finally on the blog. I was previously technologically impared but have since aquired an iPhone. So...here we go!
The News! So our Montana trip was quite the excursion. Our flight was oversold on Sunday so Leif, Adam, Andy, and I decided out of the kindness of our hearts (and a $300 credit) to give up our seats. We were then scheduled to fly out on Monday.
Alas we get to the airport on Monday and we have no seats. To make a long story shorter, we get a bunch of bonus miles and love from Northwest Air.
To be continued...
